NDIFREKE EFFIONG SETS 20 GOALS TARGET FOR AKWA UNITED

Akwa United new signing Ndifreke Effiong says his target for the club is to score 15 to 20 goals and win the league with the promise keepers.
Speaking exclusively with Passion 94.5 FM Sports correspondent, Favour Itua, after his official unveiling ceremony at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, the former Abia Warriors player said he is happy to be back home and will give his best to the team.
"I feel great to sign for the club, you can see the large turn out of fans at the unveiling it looks as if it's a league game and I want to promise the fans if they can come like this next Sunday they will go home smiling.
"Out of the clubs that came for me I picked Akwa United because it's my home town club also the quality of play. They have been looking for me and with calls from Coach Raphel Everton and the Chairman Elder Paul Bassey I had no choice.
"My target is to win the league and score 15 to 20 goals this season , bring many things to the club and I pray to get a deal to Europe before Mid Season".
Effiong scored nine goals last season with Abia Warriors.
Also Signed along Ndifreke Effiong are, Emeka Atuloma, Mfon Udoh, Alberico Barbosa Da Silva, Juwon Oshaniwa, Blaise Adou, Ocheme Edoh, Markson Ojobo, Jean Efala, Elu Wilson, Samuel Imeh Akpan and Wisdom Fernando.
The Olympic bronze medallist signed a 2 year deal with Akwa United and will wear jersey number 21. He had played for Leopard FC, Cannan United, Abia Comet and Abia Warriors.
