Nelson Ogbonaya Optimistic of Enyimba Victory Over Rivers United In CAF Confederation Cup 2nd Leg Tie

Ahead of their second leg CAF Confederations Cup qualifying round fixture against Rivers United, Enyimba defender, Nelson Ogbonnaya, has issued some words of encouragement and advice to his teammates, BSNsports.com.ng reports.
While speaking to News of Enyimba Football Club (NEFC), Nelson Ogbonnaya said;
“As we often say, football is a team sport. But when the team is strong, it is the individuals that shine.”
In the interview before the team's departure to Port Harcourt this morning ahead of Enyimba's CAF Confederation Cup return leg on Sunday, Nelson also urged for calmness among the players.
“It is an enormous, last Sunday was a success but we want bring victory home from Port Harcourt come this Sunday with one goal advantage as well. We are learning from our mistakes.
"We have to remain humble, simple, as there is still 90 minutes of action to come by before we can progress to the group stages."
He also spoke about the team's target for the NPFL this season "We have aims to attain in the NPFL this season.
Although the season is still far, we will continue to work hard and If we can keep up with the current attitude in the camp, there are greater things ahead.
Also speaking ahead of the game, the team manager Fatai Osho who praised Anthony Omaka as the club beat Rivers 1-0 at the Enyimba International Stadium Aba.
“He is a player with a very good ability to read the game. He allows for us each time to have attacking possession and to bring the ball out into good situations, to better start off attacks.
"In attacking phases, he can double his efforts and provoke situations going forward. For me, he is a truly great player.”
Enyimba will hope to avoid a defeat when they play Rivers United in the second leg of the CAF Confederations Cup qualifying rounds in Port Harcourt on Sunday
