NFF Crisis: Reconciliation Committee Goes on Holiday

This was disclosed to www.bsnsports.com.ng by a key member of the committee who does not want his name in print. The committee set up by the Minister of Sports Solomon Dalung has been sitting in Abuja since its inauguration on Monday. Chaired by a former chairman of the then Nigeria Football Association, Col. Abdulmumuni Aminu, the committee has two weeks within which to submit its report to the sports ministry. According to the member, the committee members will take a break on Friday to resume on Monday for the final leg of the peace finding mission. He also said before embarking on the break, the committee would break into groups and each would be given a specific assignment to carry out. “We have been sitting since Monday when we were inaugurated in Abuja. So far it has been a success and I believe we shall continue in this same spirit. “On Friday we shall embark on few days break to reconvene on Monday for the concluding part of our assignment. Before the break, we are going to set up mini-committees to handle specific assignments. “By then we would have reached the stage to inter-face with the aggrieved parties. I want to assure Nigerians that our efforts would not end in futility,” he said.
