NFF Says Gernot Rohr Is Allowed To Listen Or Apply For New Job From Jan. 1

The Nigeria Football Federation in their new contract with the Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has said that the tactician is allowed to listen to offers or apply for jobs from January, 2020, BSNSports.com.ng understands.


Rohr’s contract which was extended after the world cup in 2018 runs as Super Eagles head Coach out in June, but the German has expressed his desire to stay with the team.

In the last few months Rohr has been at loggerheads with his employers (NFF) over his quotes in the media expressing displeasure with several aspects of his job. The Franco-German tactician has been quoted saying that many countries are interested in him as their national team coach.

BSN Sports learn that the new contract also includes that Germany Rohr should be residing in Nigeria, pay taxes and will not have absolute control in players invitation and team selection.
