NFF Shifts AITEO Cup Final

The final match of the maiden edition of the AITEO Cup originally slated to hold this Sunday has been postponed by one week. The AIETO Cup which is the replacement for the previous Federation Cup, the successor to the previous Governor’s Cup, the Challenge Cup and later the FA Cup has reached the semi final stage. An inside source informed the BSNSports.com.ng that the AITEO Cup final match had to be moved by a week for logistic reasons. On the eve of the original date, Super Eagles are expected to engage Libya in the first of a double-header in Uyo on Saturday , as the team depart for Tunisia for the reverse tie on Monday. CAF have shifted the deadline to October 21. However Aiteo Cup final has now been slated for October 20 in Asaba. The semi-finals will be on action tomorrow, aa Rangers slug it out to Nasarawa United in Kano, while Kano Pillars square up against Katsina United in Lagos.
