NFF Staff Celebrate DSS Exit From Glasshouse

A top official of the NFF said this afternoon when speaking with BSN correspondent. Ambassador Chris Giwa resumed as NFF president following Supreme Court Order that affirmed the Federal high court judgement which recognised Giwa as the authentic NFF boss. Giwa, club owner, ordered the payments of match bonuses and allowances of all national teams which was scrapped by the Amaju Pinnick board. Hope rises for the staff of the NFF who were owed backlogs of allowances during Amaju Pinnick's four years in office, as the NFF President, Ambassador Chris Giwa promised to pay all the outstandings for team officials, NFF staff as well as players. However, the staff were happy this morning when the Department of Security Service, DSS left the premises. It will be recalled that the DSS officials came into the glasshouse on alleged directive from the presidency. However, the minister of youth and sports, Solomon Dalung insisted that no arm of this present government will give directive against Supreme Court ruling because they swore an oath of office to defend Nigerian constitution.
