Niger Tornadoes crash out CAF Confederation Cup

The hope of Nigeria representative Niger Tornadoes progressing to the next round of this year CAF Confederation cup has been dashed.

The team only secured a 3-3 draw in Conakry against Santoba who earlier defeated the team during first leg at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna.

It was Segun Alebiosu who drew the first blood for the Nigeria side in the 15th minute of the keenly contested encounter but poor defending allow Santoba back in the game through Bah Abdourahmane in the 25th minute.

Alebiosu completed his brace in the 29th minute before Siby Gaousou leveled the game again and ended the half 2-2.

Ousmane Camara put host ahead in the 84th minute before Tornadoes rallied to leveled again and the game ended all square.

It means Santoba progressed with 5-4 aggregate scoreline
