AFCON U20: Nigeria faces Mali in Semi final

Mali's U20 national team on Saturday secured the last semi-final spot of the ongoing AFCON U20 in Niger after they defeated their counterpart from Ghana 1-0.

Hadji Drame's second-half goal was enough for Mali to get the much-needed three points against Ghana

The Malian junior team fought hard to edge Ghana and joined Nigeria, South Africa and Senegal in the last four.

Their qualification confirmed them as the semi final opponent of Nigeria on Wednesday in Niamey.

Apart from qualifying for the semi final, Mali also qualifies for the FIFA U20 World Cup in Poland in May 2019.
