Ex-Giwa FC goal banger Ibrahim Shuaibu rates Rashidi Yekini as the greatest ever Nigerian player

Former Giwa FC striker Ibrahim Shuaibu has rated late Rashidi Yekini as the greatest ever Nigerian player.

The Haugesund attacker said this while answering questions on WhatsApp Platform LGN on his favourite Nigeria player of all time, "with all due respect to all the players in the nation team most especially Ahmed Musa, I think Rashidi Yekini is the greatest player in the national team."

On the challenges he faced in his first season in Europe, Ibrahim said it was a smooth ride in his first two seasons in Norway making the first team week in week out.

The talented product from Golden Boys Soccer Academy recalled his time with Giwa FC, saying he will never forget the team and the proprietor for believing in him even when the team had no strikers.

He further said that he hopes to move to a better club in Europe or Asia as his contract with Haugesund come to end in December 2020.
