In Turkey, Ogenyi Onazi made his eight start for Trabzonspor who defeated Akhisar Belediyespor 3-1 away from home in the Turkish Super Lig. The game was his 70th appearance for Trabzonspor since joined the club three years ago. His compatriot Anthony Nwakaeme who has made four appearances scoring twice was an unused substitute in the encounter. In the Moscow derby in Russia, Super Eagles left back Bryan Idowu was an unused substitute for Lokomotiv Moscow who defeated CSKA Moscow 1-0 in a city derby. Idowu has made two appearances this season in the Russian League. Uche Agbo replaced Paul-Jose Mpoku in the 82nd minute as Standard Liege defeated Club Brugge 3-1 in Belgium. It was his sixth league appearance for Standard Liege this season. In France, Super Eagles winger Samuel Kalu replaced Yann Karamoh in the 67th minute of Girondins Bordeaux 3-0 home win over Nantes on Sunday. He was cautioned in the 87th minute of the win.
