  Nigeria Maintains Position In Final Year FIFA Ranking By Sampson Adedeji World soccer governing body (FIFA) has released its final ranking for the year 2020 and Nigeria's Super Eagles maintained the same position held in November, BSNSports.com.ng reports The Nigeria national team was dropped to 35th position and 5th in Africa after failing to secure a win in the match-day 3 and 4 of the 2021 African Cup Of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone. The ranking released on Thursday afternoon indicated that Nigeria with 1474 points, remained in the same position 35th in the World and 5th in Africa. Senegal also maintained its position 20th in the World and first in the continent of Africa. Carthage Eagles of Tunisia was ranked second in Africa and 26th in the world, Algeria was placed 31st in the world and 3rd in Africa. Morocco and Nigeria was ranked 35th in the World but Morocco was 4th in Africa ahead of Nigeria. Latest top 10 CAF Rankings: 1. Senegal 2. Tunisia 3. Algeria 4. Morroco 5. Nigeria 6. Egypt 7.
