Nigeria Football Federation, NFF should not falter on the immediate need to restructure the Nigeria National League, NNL , chairman Giodano football club of Kano, Jamilu Wada Aliyu has said.
He lamented that, the league competition format, is in demand for prompt overhauling, by the Federation, noting that, a competing playing format wherein competing clubs are schedule to play two games in a week, constitute a burden on players, coaches and administrative managers from the affected league clubs.

And travelling arrangements in some cases snowballs into a severe issue”
According to him, Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, owe it for the good of the league, to readjust NNL calendar, which in his opinion would find lasting solutions to the problems raised. Adding that, the suggested restructuring, if conducted would make room for the teams to raise their standard of play.

“let NFF, do the right thing, nobody is perfect, they know what to do to make it better, since there is the demand to continue to work to hard to make things better, in the league.” Jamilu said.

He appealed to the organizers of the league, to brace up in addressing the lingering issue on the number of NNL clubs that should be relegate., cautioning that the unwarranted delays on the matter and other crucial issues spell doom.

The club owner appeased fans of the club, not to desist from showering their love on the team, vowing that, players and coaches of the Kano side are working tireless to water their appetite, come next NNL season.

He disclosed that, fresh legs have been recruited to prosecute the forth coming league season, while revealing that, players whose services were no longer required were been unbundled from the club.
