Nigeria Not Favourite To Lift AFCON Title - Super Eagles Goalkeeper Sampson Adedeji Nigeria's Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye has said they are not the favourite to win the 33rd edition of the African Cup of Nations in Cameroon, BSNsports.com.ng can report. The competition which will commence on Sunday has defending champions Algeria, last edition runners up Senegal, host Cameroon, Tunisia and Morocco among the title contenders tipped by the bookmakers. While speaking from the team camp in Cameroon through Netherlands news outlets, Okoye said even though they are not among the favourite but winning the tournament remained their ultimate goal. “We are not one of the big favorites, but we want to make our country proud. Winning the tournament: that is our goal”, he said.
