P has hailed and congratulated newly elected Chairman, Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja chapter, Ndubueze Chidoka over his victory. Ndubueze Chidoka who is a correspondent of FRCN in the words of Chief Ejidike emerged Chairman unopposed which has been described as a testimony to his impeccable character and charisma among the sports writers. The sports philanthropist who also commended members of FCT SWAN for their conduct and sense of responsibility for staging a peaceful and acceptable elections which should be emulated by other chapters. He equally urged the newly elected Chairman, Ndubueze Chidoka to bring his wealth of experience to bear by re-branding Abuja SWAN with veritable programmes. Ejidike also called on members of the sports writers to cooperate with Chidoka to achieve laudable objectives and make the association better than they met it. The Nigeria Pillar of Sports, Ejidike assured the new executives his support for them even as he cautioned them against any kind of rancour or sentiment that may tear them apart. SWAN according to Ejidike is an important and valuable association that is highly desirable for the growth and development of Sports in Nigeria.
