Nigeria Player Bags Player of The Year Award In Denmark

Nigerian midfielder Frank Onyeka was voted Danish club FC Midtyland’s Player of the Year after an outstanding season for the newly crowned league champions,

Midtyland disclosed this after posting a picture of Onyeka on their verified Twitter handle receiving his award at the weekend.

The 22-year-old scored four goals made two assists in 35 appearances in all competitions for Midtyland in the just concluded season.

His impressive performance helped the club clinch their third league title which they last won in 2018.

It was Onyeka’s second trophy with the club since he joined them in 2018 after winning the Danish Cup in the 2018/2019 campaign.

He joined Midtyland from Nigerian club side FC Ebiede.
