Nigeria Players Abroad: Ighalo, Ndidi, Iheanacho Clubs Suffer Defeat, Azubuike Wins Turkish League With Basaksehir As Nwakaeme Scores 11th Goal

Odion Ighalo played the final 11 minutes as Manchester United lost the FA Cup Semi-Final to Chelsea. Goals from Olivier Giroud, Mason Mount and a Harry Maguire Own goal sent Chelsea to the final.
Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho featured for Leicester City in their crushing 3-0 defeat against Tottenham Hotspurs in the English Premier League. This defeat leaves Leicester City 4th in the English Premier League standings with Manchester United having a game at hand. Ndidi played 70 minutes while Iheanacho featured for 31 minutes for the Foxes.
Super Eagles full-back Ola Aina played the full 90 minutes for Torino in their disappointing 2-0 defeat against Fiorentina in the Italian Série A on Sunday.
In Spain, Kenneth Omeruo and Chidozie Awaziem suffered relegation with Leganes after they were held to a 2-2 home draw by Real Madrid.
Omeruo and Awaziem were unused substitute in the game.
Leganes finished in 18th position on the LaLiga table.

In Turkey, former U-23 Eagles captain Azubuike Okechukwu has won the Turkish Super Lig title with Istanbul Basaksehir,
Basaksehir defeated Kayserispor 1-0 on Sunday to claim the title.
Mahmut Tekdemir netted the winning goal in the 19th minute.
Azubuike featured in 17 league games for the club.
Also in Turkey, Anthony Nwakaeme featured for 45 minutes in Trabzonspor’s 4-3 home defeat against Konyaspor.
Nwakaeme has scored 11 goals in 29 league appearances for the club this season
Chidi Omeje was on target for Eskiltsuna in their 2-1 defeat against Halmstad BK in the Swedish Suppertan. Samuel Nnamani also played the full 90 minutes for Eskiltsuna.
Godswill Ekpolo played the full 90 minutes for BK Hacken in 2-2 draw against Ostersunds in the Swedish Allsvenskan. Jordan Khadiri had an assist for Ostersunds in the draw, he played 62 minutes.
Tosin Kehinde played the first 45 minutes for Randers in their 3-2 defeat against Odense BK, Randers have now been eliminated from the Europa League qualification with that defeat.
Innocent Bonke played the full 90 minutes for Malmoe FF in their 2-1 win over Kalmar FF in the Swedish Allsvenskan.
