Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze's Villarreal suffered a 4-1 defeat in the hand of Barcelona at the Estadio de Ceramica on Sunday night. The Nigerian Villarreal forward was involved in his team lone goal setting up the goal scorer to put the game to level term.

Oghenekharo Etebo was not listed in Getafe 0-0 away draw against Osasuna in Spanish La Liga match-day 34 tie at the Estadio El Sadar.

While Kenneth Omeruo was not on the team list, his compatriot, Chidozie Awaziem played nine minutes for Leganes as they got an important win against relegation rivals Espanyol in the Spanish La Liga. Leganes are now seven points away from safety.

In the Spanish Segunda, Kelechi Nwakali was an unused substitute as he seats on the bench for the second consecutive games in his club 1-2 loss against Deportivo La Coruna.

Eberechi Eze and Bright Osayi-Samuel featured for Queens Park Rangers in their 1-0 win against relegation threatened Middlesbrough in the English Championship. Eze played 70 minutes while Osayi-Samuel played the full 90 minutes.

Semi Ajayi sat on the bench for the full duration as West Bromwich Albion smashed Hull City 4-2 to mount further pressure on the English Championship league leaders, Leeds United. West Bromwich Albion are point adrift Leeds United who have garnered 78 points in 41 games.

In Italy, due to injury, Victor Moses was not in action as Inter Milan suffered a shock 1-2 home loss to Bologna at the Guiseppe Meaza stadium.

William Troost-Ekong played 90 minutes for Udinese in their 2-2 draw against Genoa in the Italian Série A. Udinese had taken a two goal lead before Genoa stormed back to rescue a point.

In Norway, Leke James came off the bench in the 81st minute to help Molde FK in a 2-1 defeat to Mjoendalen in the Norway Eliteserien.

Moses Akinade was on the score sheet for the third straight time as his side Binati YSK were held to a 2-2 draw against Turk Ocagi Limassol.

Godwin Ekpolo played 90 minutes for BK Hacken in their 3-0 thumping of Hammarby IF in the Swedish Allsvenskan.

Tosin Makinde was on the scoresheet as his Danish side Randers were 3-2 winners at Hobro IF in the Danish Superliga.

Peter Nsima and John Chibuke featured for Falkenbergs in their 1-1 draw against AIK in the Swedish Allsvenskan. Nsima opened the scoring before he was stretched off in the 67th minute, while Chibuke played 76 minutes.

Frank Onyeka was shown a 90th minute red card in Midtyllands narrow defeat against Nordsjaelland in the Danish Superliga.
