Nigeria Players Abroad: Solanke, Boniface On Target, Iwobi, Ndidi, Ekong, Awaziem In Action

Nigeria born and Bournemouth forward, Dominic Solanke's brace was enough to help his team defeat Leicester City 4-1 at the Vitality Stadium. The loss denied Leicester City the opportunity to leapfrog Chelsea to the third on the log.

Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho featured for Leicester City in their 4-1 hammering at the hands of relegation threatened Bournemouth on Sunday evening, Ndidi conceded a penalty while Iheanacho was not able to add to his 10 goals this season. Ndidi was on the pitch for the whole duration while Kelechi was substituted at the beginning of the second half.

Solanke scored in the 67th and 87th minutes while Junior Stanislas and Jonny Evans own goal completed the rout. Leicester City striker, Jamie Vardy had put his team ahead in the 23rd minute.

At the Molineux stadium, Alex Iwobi subbed on to replace Theo Walcott in the 56 minutes in his team, Everton 3-0 loss against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the match-day 35 of English Premier League.

In Spain, Super Eagles defender, Chidozie Awaziem featured for the relegation threatened Leganes in their 1-0 win against Valencia. The win by 10-man Leganes boosted their hopes of avoiding the drop to the Segunda division. Leganes who are on 32 points need to their last two matches of the season to swim away from the relegation waters.

In Italy, William Troost-Ekong played the full 90 minutes for Udinese in their 3-1 defeat at the Dacia Arena stadium, the home ground of Sampdoria in the week 32 game in te Italian Série A. Udinese who are on the points with Sampdoria with 35, are now six points above the relegation zone.

Frank Onyeka played the full 90 minutes for newly crowned Danish Superliga champions Midtjlland in their 3-0 defeat at the hands of AGF Aarhus.

Afeez Aremu played wa in action for the whole duration for IK Start in their 1-0 defeat against Sarpsborg in the Norwegian Elliseteren on Sunday.

Moses Ogbu played the final thirteen minutes for Mjallby in their 3-1 win over BK Hacken in the Swedish Allsvenskan.

Victor Boniface was on the scoresheet for FK Bodo in their 6-1 away hamering of Aalesunds in the Norwegian Elliseteren, Bodo are now top of the log after seven wins from seven matches. He only played the final 36 minutes.

Sylvester Igboun saw 70 minutes action for Dynamo Moscow in their 2-0 win over Krylya Sovetoz Samara in the Russian Premier League.

Alhassan Yusuf played the full 90 minutes for 10 man IFK Göteborg in their 1-0 defeat against Djugardens in the Swedish Allsvenskan.

Samuel Nnamani played the full 90 minutes as his swedish side Eskiltsuna lost their 5th straight game, they were beaten 2-1 by IK Brage in the Swedish Suppertan.

Emeka Eze came on as a 64th minute substitute, but was sent off 21 minutes later in Adanaspor's 2-1 defeat against Hatayaspor in the Turkish second division.

Abdullahi Shehu played the full 90 minutes for Bursaspor in their 2-2 draw against Menemenspor in the Turkish second division. Bursaspor secured promotion to the Turkish Super Lig with that result.

And finally, Blessing Ekele played the first 45 minutes of FC Luzern's 3-3 draw against FC Lugano in the Swiss Super League on Sunday
