Nigeria Players Union Name Abdul Sule, Iloenyosi As Heads of Task Force Team

Following the constitution of 19 man Task Force team of National Association of Nigerian Professional Footballers, NANPF, the leadership of the union has appointed two ex internationals, Abdul Sule and Chikelue Iloenyosi as chairman and vice chairman of its task force.
This was announced in release by the Union's General Secretary, Austin Popo on Tuesday.
The release said that the NANPF President, Tijani Babangida believed the duo would bring their leadership experience to bear for the union to achieve its mandate of making it more vibrant and admirable to all.
Abdul Sule who played for Nigeria's Super Eagles between 1992 and 1993 is currently the President of Nigeria National League, NNL Club Owners Union as well as Chairman of Kogi United and Confluence Queens.
His vice, Iloenyosi was a member of Nigeria's U20 team to FIFA U20 World Cup in 1999 hosted by Nigeria.
He's currently an aide to President of Nigeria Football Federation, NFF Amaju Pinnick.
They are expected to among other terms of reference interface and engage all necessary and relevant Government Agencies, Corporate bodies, individuals and Football stake holders, whose activities and statutory mandate has direct or indirect impact on the development and general welfare of Nigeria Footballers within and outside the Country.
The Task Force is expected to also generate and work out proposals that will improve both the attractiveness of the union and football to the general public and specifically to high Profile Footballers all across the globe in ensuring massive support for the union work, and also put in place necessary mechanism in pursuing the union rights and access to statutory funding and effective participation in football governing process designed to protect the rights and promote the interest of Nigeria Footballers in line with global best practices
Other members of the task force include Tijani Babangida, Clement Temile, Dr Brown Ogbeifun, Oladunni Oyekale, Mutiu Adepoju, Daniel Amokachi, Pascal Patrick, Nasiru Jubril and Seyi Olofinjana.
Current Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa, Chinedu Amadi, Barr Audu M Lawal, Abe Sunday, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Jibo Bello, Pepsie Adiukwu and Austin Popo completes the list of task force team.
