Nigeria Qualify For 2019 AFCON After 1-1 Draw with South Africa

Super Eagles achieved their aim before going into the Match-day 5 of Group E in the 2019 AFCON qualifying match against Bafana Bafana of South Africa on Saturday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
An owngoal by South Africa defender in the 9th minute resulting from Samuel Kalu's pull out in the early minutes of the encounter put Nigeria ahead.
Kelechi Iheanacho, Alex Iwobi, Jamilu Collins, Kenneth Omeruo failed to perform to the expectation, Kelechi Iheanacho and Alex Iwobi we're substituted in the second half.
With the one goal apiece in the game between Super Eagles of Nigeria and Bafana Bafana of South Africa, Nigeria qualify for the first time since 2013 for the 2019 AFCON in Cameroon in June, South Africa are on the second on the log with 9 points, Libya who defeated Seychelles 8-1 have 7 points while Seychelles have a point.
Super Eagles got the deserved result but were below par in the second half.
However, Eagles qualify with a match against Seychelles in Nigeria.
