Nigeria rated 8th Position in Africa

    The Nigeria Professional Football League has been ranked 8th in Africa in the last decade by Euro Top Teams, BSNSports reports. The ranking was compiled based on points accumulated in the CAF's inter-clubs competitions since February 2019. Within the last decade, Nigeria has Enyimba winning back to back at the CAF Champions League, as well as Sunshine Stars reaching semi-final of CAF Champions League. This has seen Nigeria accumulating 1110 points in that regard and lying 8th from 55 African leagues. The list sees the Tunisian Ligue 1toppling all other leagues on the continent. Egypt Premier League is in the second place with Morocco, Algeria and DR Congo following in that order.
