Nigeria Referees Get CAF Champions League Appointment

With the first leg preliminary rounds of the CAF Champions League around the corner, the African soccer governing body has started appointing match officials for the matches, BSNsports.com.ng can report.
The football body on Monday appointed four Nigeria match officials to take charge of the involving ESAE FC ( Benin Republic) and FC Nouhadibou FC ( Mauritania).
Salisu Basheer will work as the center referee while the trio of Isah Usman, Mimisien Agatha Iyorhe, and Grema Mohammed works as Assistant 1, 2 and reserved referee respectively.
Alimi Konate Abubakar from Cameroon will work as match commissioner while Perfect Sylvester, Aivodji will perform as Coronavirus doctor.
The first leg is slated for Cotonou in Benin Republic mid September while the second leg is scheduled for Mauritania.
