Nigeria, South Africa Join Senegal In Semi-final, Pick World Cup Tickets

Flying Eagles of Nigeria and Amajita of South Africa on Friday picked the two 2019 U20 African Nations Cup Group A World Cup tickets, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Nigeria top the group with 7 points from three games, having won Burundi, drew South Africa and pipped host, Niger Republic. South African picked the second group's world cup ticket and semi-final berth with 5 points after the Amajita played a barren draw with Niger, Nigeria and defeated Burundi 1-0.
Senegal in Group B was the first country to book the semi-finals and also qualify for the world cup in Poland.
In Group B, there is only one world cup slot left for two countries to contest for. Ghana and Mali will face each other in a winner take all last group game.
Both countries had played two matches, each of them won one match and lost one. Though, Ghana is second on the log with 0 goals different while Mali has -1 with the same 3 points from two matches.
While a draw will see Ghana qualify for the semi-final and pick the remaining one world ticket, Mali, on the other hand, need an outright win in Saturday's last group match.
The second game, though will be played simultaneously is dead rubber game as Senegal has qualified while Burkina Faso has no chance of qualifying irrespective of the outcome of the match.
