Nigeria star Chikeluba Ofoedu joins J-League side Sagan Tosu

J-League 1 side Sagan Tosun signs former Enugu Rangers striker Chikeluba Ofoedu on a two year deal, BSNSports.com.ng reports . ‘Chico’ has penned a two-year contract at the Japanese side after lengthy contract talks amidst late interests from a horde of clubs in Europe and The Gulf. Sagan Tosu were delighted to land their 28-year-old long-time target and finally succeeded in committing the former Maccabi Tel Aviv striker to a deal that will keep him at the Japanese side till 2023. ‘Chico’ said he was delighted to sign for the club and looked forward to delivering the goals for his new side when the new season starts on February 27. “I’m absolutely excited to be part of Sagan Tosu Family,” he told the club’s website
