Nigeria Starts 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers Campaign Against Liberia, Two Others In May 2021

Nigeria is drawn in group C of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers alongside, Liberia, Cape Verde and Central African Republic, BSNports.com.ng can report.
The three time African champions would want to repeat their excellent performance on their road to Russia 2018 when they qualified in their group with a match to play.
According to the world football governing body, FIFA, Nigeria will play its first match of the Second Round on 31st May, 2021 which ends in September 2021. Meanwhile, the first and second leg of the Third Round will be played between 8th and 16 November, 2021.
The third round will see the 10 group winners from the second round drawn into five home-and-away ties. The winners of each tie will advance to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
