Nigeria Teqball Federation Begins Training Of Coaches, Referees In Abuja

Determined to make the beautiful game of Teqball a household name in every nooks and crannies of the country and ensure professionalism, the Nigeria Teqball Federation, NIGTEQ is organising a four-day capacity building training for Teqball coaches and Referees.
The four-day training which is holding in Abuja, the federal capital and organised in conjunction with world teqball governing body, Federation International of Teqball, FITEQ will commence from tomorrow, Saturday, April 10 and will end on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. Departure date is slated for 14 April.
Over 24 officials made up of 12 coaches and 12 referees drawn from across the 36 states of the federation including the Federal Capital Territory, FCT will converge in Abuja from tomorrow for the training.
The Secretary General, NIGTEQ, Mr Ndudi Edede confirmed that Instructors from Federation International of Teqball, FITEQ will arrive Abuja today, Friday 9th April, 2021 for the programme.
Tagged "Roadshow Project/Coaches and Referees Courses", Mr Edede noted that states to take part in the training have been selected based on geo-political zones to attend the educational programme
The following states; Abia, Imo, Edo, Bayelsa, Lagos, Ogun, Kwara, Plateau, Taraba, Adamawa, Jigawa and Kaduna will take part in the Coaching Course.
The Referees Course is reserved for Anambra, Enugu, Rivers, Delta, Oyo, Ondo, Nasarawa, Niger, Gombe, Borno, Katsina and Kano states.
During the training, the trainees will be offered accommodation, feeding, NIGTEQ branded T-shirt, note pad, pen, file jacket as well well transportation allowance.
The President, Nigeria Teqball Federation, Engr. Habu Gumel will declare the training open.
