  Nigeria Teqball Federation To Distribute Equipment To States, NPFL, NWFL Teams By Niyi Busari Nigeria Teqball Federation will distribute 56 Teqball equipment across Nigeria for the development of the game in the country, BSNSports.com.ng can report. This was made known by the Secretary General of the Federation,  Ndudi Edede at the official presentation of teqball tables to State Association on Tuesday in Abuja. Ndudi while speaking with BSN Sports said; "This is the moment we've been waiting for all this year since year 2018. Presently Nigeria Teqball Federation has 28 member state and FCT, so, our impression is that sooner or later we will cover all the 36 states. Right now to promote techball we have certain criteria in distributions of equipment. "We are given NPFL clubs, the leader of last season which are; Enyimba and Plateau United, we are also given four best NWFL teams in Nigeria, which are Rivers Angel, Bayelsa Queens, Nasarawa Amazons. "Also, we  are giving two teams in each geo-political zone and also recreation centre, that is how we are going to distribute it. Some states will receive 2 tables while some will receive less. We have 56 tables at the moment." Since 2018, the game of teqball has been active, it's a sports, mixture of table tennis and football and it can be played with all part of the body except hand. No part of the body should touch the ball more than 3 consecutive time. A game with less injury and highly enjoyable that can flourish in Nigeria. The game is already in 211 countries of the world but various Olympic Committee of 91 countries have been able to register and by June this year it will become an Olympic sport. "Have not been working alone, I have been working with my highly experienced and energetic president Engr Habu Gumel, and we tapped from his experience." The Secretary added. President of the Federation, Engineer Habu Gumel, Vice President - Dr. Abdul A. Ibrahim, His Excellency, Dr. Sandor Beer, Ambassador of Hungary to Nigeria were also part of the official presentation.
