Nigeria men's team who lost 4-2 go Egypt in their first game, trashed Uganda 10-3 in their second game, needed to avoid a loss against Ghana to book a semi spots. The task was to avoid defeat against Kenya. They scored first but the Kenyan ladies scored two goals to secure a 2-1 win which condemned Nigeria to a third place finish. Nigeria will now play Uganda today (Friday) in the classification game 5-8th. The Nigeria- Uganda tie will play the winner of the game between Namibia and Zambia to determine the 5-6th places while the losers of the clash play against each other to determine the 7-8th places.
