Nigeria Volleyball League Starts 5th July By Uche Dozie Nigeria Volleyball Federation has announced the date for the commencement of the league, BSNSports.com.ng can report. The first phase of the Nigeria Volleyball Premier League which was initially scheduled to hold on the 5th of April to 15th April is now expected to run from 5th July to the 18th of June, 2021 at the University of Ilorin, Kwara State. An unusual occurrence of the Coronavirus that ravaged the world called for the cancellation of the 2020 edition of the league. Hence, the Nigerian Volleyball League Management Committee (LMC) settled for a Super Cup to keep the players busy. Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) and Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corp (NSCDC) Volleyball Club emerged champions of the volleyball league in 2019 in male and female category.
