Former Super Eagles captain Kanu Nwankwo urged Nigerians to continue to believe and keep supporting the Nigeria senior national team adding that they will not disappoint the country as they file out against Bafana Bafana of South at the quarterfinals of the ongoing 2019 African Nations Cup in Egypt, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The former African Best Player assured Nigerians that the Eagles will not make every Nigerian proud as they are battle ready in their quest to conquer Africa again.

Kanu in a short video on his official Twitter said: "Nigeria versus South Africa, you know what to do. Pray, support, believe the boys are ready. They are going to make us proud. We need everyone to be part of this. Keep supporting our darling team, the Super Eagles to victory." The former Arsenal ace said on Twitter.

Nigeria versus South Africa quarterfinal clash is scheduled for Cairo International Stadium at 8:00 pm.
