Nigeria Will Play DR Congo In Abuja If... Solomon Dalung

The Minister of Youths and Sports Development, Barrister Solomon Dalung revealed that the National stadium Abuja remain the first choice for the international friendly game between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and DR. Congo on the 28th May 2018.
The international friendly match which gives Nigerians the opportunity to watch their darling team play at the home ground before the world cup finals and also serve as an opportunity for Gernot Rohr to introduce some players into the team.
Speaking with www.bsnsports.com.ng at the opening ceremony of National Grassroots Sports Festival on Tuesday 24th April 2018 at the Package A, National stadium Abuja, he said: " As you can see, work is still going on in the National stadium Abuja, we hope it will be completed before the Super Eagles international friendly match against DR Congo on 28th May 2018. Abuja remain our first choice but if we are unable to complete fixing of the stadium before the the game, then our Plan B which is Portharcourt will be the venue for the international friendly game."
