Nigeria Wrestling Federation gets grant

Following the impressive performance of the athletes, Nigeria Wrestling federation has be grant by United World Wrestling (UWW).

Nigeria wrestlers in 2019 recorded great achievement and Daniel Igali has a year to remember with their impressive performance in various competition both local and international competitions.

The international body deemed it fit to encourage the federation gave grant worth $60,000 (N21m) to improve the train of the wrestlers.

Nigeria wrestlers won a total of 33 medals consist if 16 gold, 8 silver and 9 bronze in 2019 at continental and international events.
