  Nigerian Boxer ‘Scorpion’ Knocks Out Argentine Opponent To Emerge World Super Featherweight Champion By Olaolu Fawole Nigerian boxer, Rilwan Oyekola ‘scorpion’ is the new world super featherweight champion. Scorpion won the super featherweight belt, after defeating Argentine, Lucas Montesino in an International title bout decided this evening in Ibadan. He won the belt which has been vacant for a long time through unanimous decision in the tenth round of the fight. Radio Nigeria reports that the last time an International title challenge occurred in Ibadan was in 1963. Then, Nigerian Richard Ihetu ‘Dick Tiger’ defeated America’s Gene Fullmer in a World middleweight title bout decided at Liberty stadium now known as Obafemi Awolowo stadium on October 8, 1963.
