Nigerian International Michael Ibe, Signs for Uzbekistan's FC Mashal

Uzbekistan club Fc Mashal have signed Nigerian International Michael Ibe on a one-year deal.

The 24-year-old joins Fc Mashal from Fc Andijan after producing wonderful performances that caught the eyes of different clubs.

Ibe played eight out of ten league matches for FC Andijan recording five assists and are currently 12th on the log.

The former Aiteo Cup winner will now join his former teammate during his time with Akwa United, Ifeanyi Ifeanyi in FC Mashal as they hope to continue the excellent partnership in the midfield.

Meanwhile, FC Mashal are currently 8th in the Uzbekistan Professional Football League with 16 points from 13 matches.

An elated Michael Ibe, says he is happy to team up with yet another teammate Ifeanyi Ifeanyi, as this will help him settle well.

"I feel so happy to join Fc Mashal, a club I have monitored for a while, they have good history and with my friend and brother Ifeanyi Ifeanyi I know it will not be hard because we have played together couple of times during my stay with Akwa United, I can't wait to give my best for the club".

Fc Mashal is a club founded 36 years ago and we're runners up in the Pro League during the 2005 season.

The First round of the Uzbekistan Pro League is done as the transfer market closed on August 31st.

The second round will commence on the 11th of September 2020.
