In Group A, Noah Okafor started from the bench but was introduced in the 65th minutes as Salzburg lost 2-6 to Bayern at the Red Bull Arena in Austria. Karim Adeyemi was not listed for the match. On the other hand, Nigerian eligible Joshua Zirkzee was on the bench for Bayern throughout the game. In Group C, Zaidu Sanusi returned to the starting lineup for FC Porto and was on for the entire duration in their 3-0 home win over Marseille. And in Group D, Frank Onyeka could not prevent FC Midtjylland from stubbing at home 1-2 to Ajax. Onyeka was on for the entire duration. The Champions League match day 3 continues tomorrow with Nigerians still expected in action
