Nigerian Referee To Handle Ghana vs Uganda U20 World Cup Qualifiers Match

Nigerian referee, Ndidi Patience Madu has been appointed to handle the second leg fixture of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier between Ghana and the Young Crested Cranes of Uganda in Cape Coast, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The Match will take place at the Cape Coast Stadium on Saturday with Ghana having a 1-0 advantage into the second leg. The renowned Nigerian referee handled Ghana (Black Maidens) versus Liberia match in March 2020. Patience was among the 14 Africa Referees selected to officiate at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games in Japan. Referee Patience Madu Ndidi Amaka also become the first Female Referee to officiate the Men’s AiteoCup final between Nassarawa United vs Bayelsa United. The 33-year-old FIFA referee will be assisted by her compatriots: Mimisen Agatha Iyorhe (Assistant I) Beauty Kabeda Terah (Assistant II) and Hannah Elaigwe (Fourth Referee).
