Nigerian Striker Jubril Abubakar Seals 5-year Midtylland Deal

FC Midtjylland of Denmark have signed and promoted Nigerian sensation Jubril Antala Abubakar, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Abubakar earned promotion from FC Midtjylland U-19 side to the first team as a result of his impressive display in the youths team.

Antala in his reaction expressed delight for securing the 5-years professional contract after serving in the junior team.

" it is a big one for me in my career." he stated, he added that the club has aided his development as a player since joining the club.

FC Midtjylland is known for their acceptance of African players having got three Nigerians in their youth team, five in the first team and nine other African players in the club, notable in the club's history is Sylvester Egum who featured for the Super Eagles.

Antala who been likened to the likes of Kanu Nwankwo, Peter Crouch and Emmanuel Adebayo as a striker has won the U19 league for the club and they are in the U19 champions League.

He therefore assures everyone especially those that helped him to this level that he will make them proud and move on from here to the biggest clubs in the world and most importantly, the Super Eagles in the future.
