OYAH Sport of Suleja on Wednesday, were promoted to the Nigerian National League after beating VET Rovers of Jos in Kaduna in the 2019 NLO playoffs. OYAH Sports were 2-0 better than their VET Rovers counterparts to claim the sole ticket.

Osman Sillah the owner of the club has been solid in terms of financing the club from Amateur Division 2 to Amateur Division 1 and now the team has been paid him back by picking promotion ticket to the NNL.

The team has played in two consecutive cadre having been promoted from amateur 2 to amateur 1, now to play in the NNL.

The team representative and agent Oluseyi Tosin also known as Ronaldo, said, "Yes, we got promoted to the NNL. It is a dream come true. This is what we have been looking for 2 years now, when we were in Amateur 2 we set a target for Amateur 1 which we achieved and now we will play in the NNL".

"I want to thank Osman Sillah the brain behind the success of the team. There has been no financial support from anywhere and he has been the one doing it. The boys have clearly shown that they've got what it takes to compete it in Nigeria National League. We can only get better day-by-day. The team is going back to Suleja and it is already celebration galore in Suleja. People are celebrating the team for the promotion to play in the NNL." He added.

"Don't forget that we now have two teams in the NNL from Niger state, Niger Tornadoes and OYAH Sports. Once more it is a dream come true for the team", he concluded.
