NNL: Nnamdi Azikwe stadium to host Super 4

After much wait, the venue and date for this year Nigeria National League Super 4 has been announced, BSN reports.

The quartet of Jigawa Golden star, Akwa Starlet, Warri Wolves and Adamawa United will jostle for the title at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium in Enugu.

Apart from the venue, the league body also announced September 13th till 15th for the 2019 Nigeria National League Super 4 playoff.

The participating teams are expected to arrive the venue on 12th September, a day before the commencement of the tourney.

The competition will be in knockout format and the league body will release the fixture soonest.

All four Clubs have already secured promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), the country’s elite league ahead of the 2019/2020 season. The Super 4 tourney is organised for emergence of the 2018/19 NNL Champions.
