NNL: Agoye happy to pick point against Nilayo FC, eyes Ekiti United scalp

The coach of Nigeria National League side Shooting Stars of Ibadan, Edith Agoye has expressed his delight following a point his team secured in one of the in Abeokuta.
BSN reports van report that the Oluyole Warriors held hosts Nilayo FC to a 1-1 draw in a keenly played encounter in Abeokuta.
The former Super Eagles player hailed the team for their quality display.
" In a game of football you don't win a game before the game is played, you don't say they are just coming from nowhere they have bunch of good players in this team, players who are hungry to succeed they came in with their quality and I gave them kudos.
He was happy for his boys for picking a point on the road and resin unbeaten.
For us is a point game, is a step by step thing and we are getting there
"The referee did his best because in every football games referees are human beings the Nilayo fans believed the referee made mistake against them as we believed also .
Agoye added that he knew that Nilayo FC would be a hard nut to break.
"I know it will not be an easy one for us against Gateway because they an established side like shooting stars unlike Nilayo and I know is not an easy side for anyone to come and pick point.
Having picked a valuable point in Abeokuta, Agoye said his Boys have shifted attention to their next NNL game against Ekiti United in a South-West derby.
First and foremost we want to think about Ekiti United on Sunday and after them we take it a step after the other," he concluded.
