NNL Clubs Dare NFF, Fail To Arrive Aba 24 Hrs To Kick off of Super 8 By Niyi Busari BSNSports.com.ng can report that only three Nigerian National League clubs are in Abia state just twenty-four hours to the kickoff of the Super 8 in Aba. The Nigeria Football Federation had on Monday through press release directed all the eight teams to arrive Aba and commence the playoff on Wednesday. On the other hand, the NNL club owners had met in Abuja and announced that they will not be part of the Super 8. The crises have stopped the Nigerian leagues to start from December 1, the earlier scheduled date by the League Management Company. According to a report from Aba, the three clubs in Aba include; Gombe United, Delta Force, and Real Stars while other five clubs; Bendel Insurance, Shooting Stars, Kada FC, Remo stars, and Kogi United are yet to find their way to the venue of the playoff. Eight teams are expected to arrive Aba, play a round-robin league while the top four teams automatically promoted to the elite league.
