Nigeria Football Federation board member, Ahmed Yusuf Fresh and Secretary of National League Club Owner Management Association (NALCOMA), Mr. Olisa Onuchukwu who visited the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC headquarters on Monday on invitation to clear their names on sale of Nigeria National League slot to Bimo SC proprietor, Mr Chinedu Okoye.

A reliable source who spoke with www.bsnspirts.com.ng on condition of anonymity said:

"Ahmed Fresh was released by the EFCC yesterday due to his health condition but was asked to appear at the anti-graft agency headquarter by 12 noon on Tuesday (today).

"Fresh was fingered to be part of the sale of a slot in the NNL as it was alleged that some amount of money was paid into his personal account.

Reacting to why Olisa Onuchukwu was invited, the source said:

"Olisa Onuchukwu was alleged to received the sum of One million naira from the sale of the same slot to register Bimo SC in the 2017/18 NNL season, reason he was invited by the EFCC to clear the air on the allegation.

The source added that the Nigeria Football Federation Secretary General Dr. Sanusi Mohammed will also be invited to explain NFF role in the saga.

"Sanusi Mohammed will also be invited to explain NFF role in the sale of the slot. They cannot tell us they don't know that Bimo SC were registered and played in the NNL? He asked.

Though, as at the time of filing this report, it is unclear when the General-Secretary of Nigeria Football Federation, Dr. Sanusi Mohammed will be invited by the EFCC to explain why the nation's football governing body failed to reply a petition written to NFF that called their attention to an 'unregistered' body called NALCOMA before payment was made to them.
