NNL: EFCC FC Plot To Arrest Niger Tornadoes In Minna

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Football Club head coach, Kabiru Owolabi has said that his lads are ready to hit the ground running as they engage Niger Tornadoes in one of the Nigeria National League match-day 3 tie in Minna, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

They Abuja based team, EFCC are playing their first match of the season having been placed bye on matchday One and also rested on match-day Two.

Speaking exclusively with www.bsnsports.com.ng, Kabiru said the management of the team has made their intention clear before the season commenced that focus of the team is picking the Nigeria Professional Football League ticket and the road to that mission starts immediately.

"The management has given us target for the season and the target is to get the promotion ticket to play in the Nigeria elite league." Kabiru told BSN Sports.

"To send message to the management as well as the fans that we are fired up for the ticket, the journey to the mission starts this Saturday against Niger Tornadoes."

Kabiru admitted that it is not going to be an easy task adding the Aiteo Cup runners up will be a hard nut to crack but insisted that they have a game plan to pick points on the road.

"It is not going to be an easy game because they have a good team that can beat any team in Nigeria. However, we remain focus on our mission to Minna, and the mission is that we are not going back to Abuja empty handed.

"We need to send a strong message to our fans, team management as well other team that we are ready for the season." He concluded.
