Following the accident suffered by the Nigeria National League side Ekiti United, the league body has postponed the league match involving the club earlier slated for this weekend, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Ekiti United team was on Tuesday involved in an accident while returning from training with 16 out of the 19 players on board sustaining various degrees of injuries.
Medical expert advise the team management that the players and some technical staff need at least 10 days to relax so they can recover from the shock suffered.
The team through its Secretary Ayodeji Olowolafe reached the league body seeking for postponement of their game.
The league Chief Operating officer Emmanuel Adesanya acknowledged the letter sent by the club and postponed the team match.
Ekiti United whucjbis placed 9th on the league table with 6 points from 6 games supposed to play Rovers of Calabar at home.
