NNL: League May Resume In October - CEO

The newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria National League, NNL, Mohammed Sajo has said that the league action might resume in October with signals coming from the Nigeria Football Federation, (NFF), BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Sajo was saddled with the responsibilities of steering the league few weeks with sole aim of taking the league to high level .

While speaking on Channel Television, he confirmed that the league operations will be done in a right way and club licensing will so be enforced.

"With the approval of the NFF the league might be back in October.

"Clubs must be registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) to feature in the Nigeria National League.

Clubs with rich history of Nigerian football play in the NNL. Shooting Stars, Bendel Insurance, Stationery Stores and others play in the league and we can use them to repackage & reposition the league for sponsorship and followership.

The League's operations will be done the right way. Club licensing will be enforced and only states that are serious & respect the regulations will be allowed to feature in the league," he concludes
