Dynamite Force pipped Ekiti United by a lone goal why Nilayo FC defeated Nnewi United 2-1 at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta. In group B2, Remo Stars mauled Godosky FC 5-0 at the Remo Stadium Ikenne why at the Agege Stadium, Joy Cometh of Lagos were full of joy as they defeated former NPFL side, Gateway United 3-0. Apex Krane beat Bayelsa United 2-1 to wrap up the match day one fixtures.
