NNL: Oluyole Warriors Invade Rock City

M.K.O. Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta is the battle ground as Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan confronts FC Nilayo in a Group B1 matchday ten fixtures of the 2020/21 NNL season.
This is going to be the fourth clash between the two teams, having previously clashed three times with the Ibadan soccer lords winning twice while they both shared the spoils once.
The Oluyole Warriors were held to a 1-1 draw in Abeokuta during the botched 2019/20 season, which was their first meeting but subsequent encounters between the two sides, ended in favour of the Ibadan soccer lords.
The coach Edith Agoye tutored lads, hammered Nilayo 5-1, during the second edition of the Prince Dapo Abiodun Pre- season tourney and secured another 3-1 win over the Abeokuta based side when both teams met in the first round of the ongoing season.
Shooting Stars, who sit comfortably on top of the log, are going into this game fresh from two consecutive triumphs over Vandrezzer FC and Nnewi United, which put them in a vantage position to secure another win over their host.
However, Nilayo, who are leaving dangerously at the wrong side of the table, will definitely put up a good fight to secure a win in order to keep their hopes of surviving the drop alive as anything short of this could be disastrous for them.
