FCT FA Chairman Confident Of NPFL Action In Abuja, Promises To Mobilise Fans To Playoff Venue

...Says Stadium Will Be Renovated, Ready For NPFL Actions

Newly elected FCT FA Chairman, Muktar Mohammed has said that the Association and all football stakeholders in Abuja are delighted to see two FCT based clubs already in contention to pick the 2019/20 NPFL tickets, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

Muktar added that to achieve that objective the FA will mobilise fans from FCT to drum support for the two teams.

He praised the efforts of Nigerian Air Force, NAF FC and Road Safety FC players and managements of both teams for the hard work and patience and encouraged them to prepare well for the playoff, remain focus on the task of picking the NPFL ticket.

"Everyone is delighted in the FCT as this gives us hope premiership football will likely return to the FCT. It's great for the fans and football development in the FCT," Muktar told BSNSports.com.ng

"We will mobilise Fans and supporters to Asaba to cheer the teams and the necessary support as a responsible football association should give to its clubs we will be there for them.

He is confident and optimistic that at least one of the two teams will pick the NPFL ticket.

"I am very confident one of the FCT teams will end up in the NPFL. None of the. Has tasted that level before so they are hungry for success.

He however, opined that the Association will be working closely with the FCT Administration to put the stadiums in proper shape to meet the standard of venue requirement to host NPFL matches.

"These venues are owned by Government so we will work closely to get support to have them in better shape.

" Once at least one team qualify we will be prepared for the NPFL standard venue requirements at least in one of the venues." He concluded
