NNL Playoff: Jigawa Golden Stars Edge NAF FC To Pick NPFL Ticket

Kingsley Obiora brace and Mujahid Ibrahim early goal was all Jigawa Golden Stars needed to outscore Nigeria Air Force FC 3-2 and pick one of the four 2019 /20 Nigeria Professional League tickets, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
NAF FC goalkeeper, Oluwaseun Oladimeji on Monday at the Zaria Road Stadium, Jos made avoidable errors particularly the third goal that gifted Jigawa Golden Stars a wide margin lead (3-0).
Midfieder Mujahid Muhammed who was unmarked nodded the ball from a corner kick to put Jigawa Golden Stars ahead in the 10th minute.

Twenty minutes into the second half, Obiora Kingsley lobbed a 27 yards shot from the right flank and surprisingly beat NAF FC goalkeeper, Oluwaseun who parried the air and allowed the ball into the back of the net.
NAF FC scored two goals to reduce the tally but they couldn't stage a surprise comeback.
Smith Asuquo scored the first goal as substitute Hamidu Aliyu raised NAF FC fans' hope in the 82nd minute but their efforts afterwards could not force Jigawa Golden Stars into penalty shootouts.
The win means, Jigawa Golden Stars will participate in the 2019/20 NPFL season.
