NNL Playoffs: Be Optimistic, Focus On Brighter Future, Mukhtar Urges Road Safety FC, NAF FC

FCT Football Association Chairman, Mohammed Mukhtar has encouraged Road Safety FC and NAF FC to put the NNL playoffs disappointment behind them and be focused n the brighter future ahead of them, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
NAF FC lost 2-3 to Jigawa Golden Stars while Road Safety were edged by Adamawa United 1-2 in their 2019 NNL playoffs. Both teams are based in FCT and were champions of their respective NNL groups.
Mukhtar said the Association is proud of them for achieving the feat of becoming champions in their 2019 NNL abridge league groups.
While speaking with BSN Sports from Turkey, the newly elected chairman said:
"My Message to both teams is that we are all very proud of their progress this far, we wanted them to get promotion but it did not happen. We take it in our stride and its work in progress."
"We thank the management/sponsors , technical crew, players, fans and all stakeholders for the effort, contributions and prayers.
"We should be optimistic, positive and focused on a brighter future ahead. Already we have set in motion a robust action plan to support all FCT teams for more sporting success. With proper planning, dedication and support we will build stronger foundations for football development in the FCT.
"At the end of it all football should come out stronger and be the winner." He concluded
